Who we are

Lionfish Cyber Security ("Lionfish," "we," "us") is located at 3815 River Crossing Parkway, Suite 100, Indianapolis, IN 46240. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect personal information on lionfishcybersecurity.com and in connection with our services and training programs.

Information we collect

Information you provide: name, email address, phone number, company, and message contents when you submit a contact or enrollment form, register for a class, request a demo, or communicate with us. Students enrolled in our training school may provide additional information required by our enrollment agreement and Indiana Office for Career and Technical Schools regulations.

Information collected automatically: standard web analytics data (pages visited, referring site, browser type, approximate location, cookies and similar technologies) used to understand site usage and improve our services. Our contact forms, booking calendar, and chat widget are provided by a third-party CRM service; submissions and chat messages are processed by that provider on our behalf.

Identity-resolution pixel: our website uses a third-party marketing pixel (AudienceLab) that collects device identifiers, IP address, and pages visited, and may match ("resolve") that activity to contact information such as an email address held by the provider, so we can market our services to interested visitors. Under California law this is considered "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can opt out at any time — see Your Privacy Choices — and we honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal automatically.

How we use information

We use personal information to respond to inquiries, deliver services and training, process enrollments and payments, send communications you have requested, market our services (including via the identity-resolution pixel described above), improve our website and offerings, and meet legal and accreditation obligations. We do not sell personal information for money; the pixel described above may constitute "sharing" under California law, which you can opt out of at Your Privacy Choices.

Sharing

We share information with service providers who help us operate (CRM/forms/chat, payments, learning platforms, website hosting, analytics), with our identity-resolution provider as described above, with regulators where required (for example, training-school oversight), and where necessary to comply with law. Service providers are permitted to use the information only to provide services to us; the identity-resolution disclosure is treated as "sharing" under California law and is subject to your opt-out.

Retention & security

We retain information as long as needed for the purposes above and as required by law or accreditation rules. We apply administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information — cybersecurity is, after all, our business.

California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to: know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and share (the categories are described above: identifiers and contact details you provide; internet activity, device identifiers, and approximate location collected automatically; and commercial information about services you inquire about); access a copy of that information; correct inaccurate information; delete your information, subject to legal exceptions; opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information; limit the use of sensitive personal information (we do not collect sensitive personal information as defined by the CPRA in the ordinary operation of this website); and to not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.

How to exercise your rights: use Your Privacy Choices (for the sale/sharing opt-out), email info@lionfishcybersecurity.com with the subject "Privacy Request," or call toll-free 1-877-732-6772. We will verify requests by matching the information you provide against information we hold, respond within 45 days (extendable once by 45 days with notice), and we do not charge a fee for requests. You may designate an authorized agent to act for you; we may ask the agent for proof of authorization and verify your identity directly. We forward applicable deletion and opt-out requests to our identity-resolution and CRM providers.

Global Privacy Control & Do Not Track: we honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as a valid opt-out of sale/sharing for the browser sending it — when GPC is detected, our identity-resolution pixel does not load. Our site does not otherwise respond to legacy "Do Not Track" headers. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.

Children

Our website and services are directed at adults and organizations. Youth education programs are operated with participating schools and institutions under separate agreements and applicable law.
